Popular Islamic preacher Sheikh AbdulGaniy Nuraini famously known as Aboto has died in an auto crash that also killed two of his students.
Multiple sources, who, according to a report by Muslim News, announced the death of the scholar on Saturday, gave graphic details of how the auto crash claimed his life and that of his students.
“The Sheikh died along with two of his students in a fatal accident on their return journey from a Dawah,” one of the sources was quoted to have said.

“Their car was said to have been found inside the river at Abattoir Bridge, Sobi, Akerebiata Area, Ilorin on Friday,” the Muslim News report added.

A rescue operation by a joint team of civil defense officers, police officers and Kwara State Fire Service officers early Saturday led to the recovery of the three corpses.
Other fatalities involved in the accident were identified as Alfa Azeez Omoekun and Alfa Nurudeen.
